Wow, so tonight I was just round at my friends' house (after deeeeelicious shawarma for dinner), when suddenly the heavens opened!!!
It POURED with rain, and there was a thunderstorm right overhead. Massive rumbles that made the windows rattle, and unbelievable lightening! About time too, the weather has been so oppressive for days!
I've not seen anything like it since I've been here - amazing. And as soon as the rain stopped it all dried up again. Leaving filthy dust everywhere. The poor cleaners, they have such an endless, thankless job. They hadn't even finished cleaning up after the duststorm over the weekend :(
